What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bft will not charge a training fee for up to five days of additional or refresher training each year that they may require the franchisee and certain management personnel to attend. However, this fee waiver does not extend to all training scenarios. Bft retains the right to charge a training fee under specific circumstances.

Bft may charge a training fee if the franchisee requests additional or refresher training at one of Bft's designated training facilities or on-site at the franchisee's studio. Additionally, if Bft determines that a franchisee is not operating the studio in accordance with the franchise agreement or the Learning Management System, Bft may require remedial training of up to five days, for which Bft may charge a training fee.

It is important to note that while Bft will not charge a training fee for certain required additional training, the franchisee is still responsible for covering all costs and expenses associated with attending any training programs. These costs include wages, benefits, and travel-related expenses for the franchisee and their personnel. Therefore, prospective franchisees should factor in these potential costs when evaluating the overall investment and operational expenses associated with a Bft franchise.
