Does Bft charge a training fee for the ongoing/refresher training?

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bft does not charge a training fee for required ongoing or refresher training. Bft may provide or request that franchisees and their management personnel attend up to five days of additional/refresher training each year, but Bft will not charge a training fee for this required training.

However, Bft may charge a training fee for other types of training. For example, if a franchisee requests additional or refresher training, Bft reserves the right to charge its then-current training fee based on the number of days of training provided at the franchisee's request. Additionally, if Bft determines that a franchisee is not operating the studio in accordance with the franchise agreement, Bft may require the franchisee and its personnel to attend remedial training and may charge a training fee for this training.

It is important for prospective Bft franchisees to understand the circumstances under which training fees may be charged. While required ongoing/refresher training does not incur a fee, franchisees should be aware that other types of training, such as requested or remedial training, may be subject to fees.
