How did Bft calculate the average Monthly Active Members for the Qualified Studios?

We calculated the average Monthly Active Members as follows: (a) we totaled the number of Monthly Active Members for each calendar month during the Measurement Period for each Qualified Studio; then (b) we calculated a simple average of the Monthly Active Members for the entire Measurement Period to determine the average Monthly Active Members during the Measurement Period for each such Qualified Studio; then (c) we calculated a simple average of all such Qualified Studios' average Monthly Active Members to determine the average Monthly Active Members for all 29 Qualified Studios noted above. We also show the range and median of Monthly Active Members for all 29 Qualified Studios.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the average Monthly Active Members for the Qualified Studios was calculated using a three-step process. First, Bft totaled the number of Monthly Active Members for each calendar month during the Measurement Period for each Qualified Studio. The FDD defines "Monthly Active Members" as studio members who had an effective studio membership agreement with a Qualified Studio during a particular calendar month.
Next, Bft calculated a simple average of the Monthly Active Members for the entire Measurement Period to determine the average Monthly Active Members during the Measurement Period for each Qualified Studio. Finally, Bft calculated a simple average of all such Qualified Studios' average Monthly Active Members to determine the average Monthly Active Members for all 29 Qualified Studios.
It is important to note that Bft also shows the range and median of Monthly Active Members for all 29 Qualified Studios. This provides prospective franchisees with a more complete picture of the performance of existing Bft studios. The data is based on information obtained directly from franchisees' studio management software systems and/or from profit and loss reports provided by franchisees.
