What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are two versions of the Sourcing Fee Addendum, each annexed to a different agreement. The Franchise Agreement Sourcing Fee Addendum is annexed to and forms part of the Franchise Agreement. Similarly, the Multi-Unit Agreement Sourcing Fee Addendum is annexed to and forms part of the Multi-Unit Agreement.
For prospective Bft franchisees, this means that if you are signing a standard Franchise Agreement, any sourcing fee arrangements will be documented in an addendum specifically designed for that agreement. If, instead, you are entering into a Multi-Unit Agreement to develop multiple Bft locations, a different addendum tailored to the Multi-Unit Agreement will apply.
It is important for franchisees to carefully review the specific addendum that applies to their situation, as the terms and conditions, including any sourcing fees, will be integrated into and governed by the respective agreement (either the Franchise Agreement or the Multi-Unit Agreement).
