What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are several circumstances under which the franchisor may require additional training for managers. Beyond Juicery Eatery may, in its sole discretion, require one or more of a franchisee's managers to engage in additional training beyond the initial 80 hours of on-the-job training. The Franchisee Designate, if different from the franchisee, may also be required to participate in additional training, as determined by Beyond Juicery Eatery in its sole discretion. This additional training may delay the opening of the Restaurant.
Beyond Juicery Eatery may extend the initial one-week period of opening assistance based on their assessment of the management staff's performance during the training period. If Beyond Juicery Eatery determines that the management staff needs additional training, the franchisee is responsible for the additional training costs, including wages, travel, and living expenses of both Beyond Juicery Eatery's staff and the franchisee's staff.
Beyond Juicery Eatery may also provide refresher training programs and seminars to the franchisee, the Franchisee Designate, and/or the managers. Beyond Juicery Eatery may charge a fee for these refresher training programs, and the franchisee will be responsible for paying all travel and living expenses for themselves and their employees. Franchisees should inquire about the typical costs and frequency of these additional training requirements to budget accordingly.
