What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the transfer fee depends on whether the proposed transferee is already operating within the Beyond Juicery Eatery system. If the proposed transferee is new to the system, the transfer fee is a nonrefundable amount equal to 100% of the then-current initial franchise fee.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that transferring their Beyond Juicery Eatery franchise to someone new to the system would incur a fee equivalent to the full initial franchise fee at the time of the transfer. This fee covers Beyond Juicery Eatery's costs associated with approving the transfer and training the new franchisee.
However, the FDD also states that Beyond Juicery Eatery has the right of first refusal with respect to all bona fide written offers to purchase that you receive and accept for your Restaurant or any transfer. Additionally, the franchisee, the transferee, and each of their Principal Owners must execute a release of any and all claims against Beyond Juicery Eatery. The transferee must also satisfactorily complete Beyond Juicery Eatery's initial training program and execute the then-current franchise agreement, which shall include, without limitation, Royalty and Marketing Fees at the same rates as are applicable to new Franchisees at the time of the assignment or transfer.
