Beyond_Juicery_Eatery Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

From time to time, we will provide you with a list of approved architects, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, and distributors ("Approved Suppliers List") and approved inventory, supplies, products, fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, stationery, supplies, and other items or services necessary to operate the Restaurant ("Approved Supplies List"). Such lists will specify the manufacturer, supplier, and distributor as well as the inventory, products, fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, stationery, suppliers, and services that we have approved to be carried or used in the Restaurant. There may be only one Approved Supplier for an Approved Supply. We may revise the Approved Suppliers List and Approved Supplies List from time to time in our sole discretion. Such approved lists will be given to you as we deem advisable.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally restricted to using only one approved supplier for each approved supply. This means that for any given item or service necessary to operate the restaurant, Beyond Juicery Eatery designates a single supplier that franchisees must use. This policy ensures uniformity and quality control across all franchise locations.

Beyond Juicery Eatery maintains an "Approved Suppliers List" and an "Approved Supplies List," which specify the approved manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors, along with the inventory, products, fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, stationery, suppliers, and services that franchisees are allowed to use. The FDD explicitly states that there may be only one Approved Supplier for an Approved Supply. However, Beyond Juicery Eatery retains the right to revise these lists at its discretion, which means suppliers can be added or removed over time.

If a franchisee wishes to use a product, supply, or supplier not already approved by Beyond Juicery Eatery, they must seek approval from the franchisor. This process involves notifying Beyond Juicery Eatery in writing and submitting samples and other required information for examination and testing. The franchisee will bear the costs associated with this evaluation, which could be up to $5,000. Beyond Juicery Eatery's review typically takes 30 to 45 days. This process ensures that any new suppliers or products meet the franchisor's standards for quality, specifications, and overall system requirements.

Beyond Juicery Eatery also approves suppliers based on specific criteria, including their ability to meet the franchisor's specifications, protect trade secrets, maintain production and delivery capabilities, and adhere to food safety standards. This rigorous approval process aims to maintain consistency and quality throughout the Beyond Juicery Eatery system. Franchisees should be aware that compliance with these supplier restrictions is essential for maintaining their franchise agreement and ensuring the uniformity of the brand.
