What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beyond Juicery Eatery reserves the right to establish exclusive arrangements with specific providers or suppliers for the benefit of the entire franchise system. When Beyond Juicery Eatery establishes these exclusive system-wide supplier arrangements, franchisees are required to participate. This means that franchisees must use the designated suppliers chosen by Beyond Juicery Eatery when such arrangements are in place.
Beyond Juicery Eatery also requires franchisees to purchase various items from designated suppliers. These items include bottled juice, peanut butter, bananas, almond butter, salad dressings, hummus, salsa, certain Beyond branded food items, certain produce items, phone, internet, and data security systems, POS systems, the Beyond Juicery + Eatery mobile application, proprietary software, music player and license, and restaurant management, operations, and inventory software.
Beyond Juicery Eatery will provide franchisees with an Approved Suppliers List and an Approved Supplies List, which may be revised periodically at Beyond Juicery Eatery's discretion. There may be only one approved supplier for an approved supply. If a franchisee wishes to use a product or supplier not already approved, they must notify Beyond Juicery Eatery in writing and may be required to submit samples and information for testing and approval, with costs potentially reaching $5,000. Beyond Juicery Eatery can re-examine or retest approved suppliers and revoke approval if standards are not maintained.
