What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee operates as an independent contractor. Beyond Juicery Eatery does not have direct or indirect control over the franchisee's day-to-day operations or employment-related decisions. This means that franchisees are responsible for making their own employment-related decisions and setting their own policies.

This arrangement means that Beyond Juicery Eatery franchisees have significant autonomy in managing their workforce. They are responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and terminating employees, as well as setting wages and benefits, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This independence allows franchisees to tailor their employment practices to the specific needs and conditions of their local market.

However, franchisees must also ensure that their business operations, including employment practices, align with Beyond Juicery Eatery's brand standards and operational guidelines as outlined in the Operations Manuals. While franchisees have independence in employment decisions, they must still adhere to the broader standards and specifications set by the franchisor to maintain consistency across the Beyond Juicery Eatery system. Franchisees must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to employment.
