What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beyond Juicery Eatery Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to offer both delivery and off-site catering services. However, the off-site catering must be done without any on-site food preparation. The specific details and standards for these services are set by Beyond Juicery Eatery and may be modified over time, as outlined in their Operations Manual.

This requirement means that prospective franchisees need to be prepared to handle delivery logistics and catering orders in addition to standard restaurant operations. It is important to note that franchisees are prohibited from operating any fixed or portable food booths, carts, trucks, or trailers, or engaging in any event that involves off-site food preparation without prior written consent from Beyond Juicery Eatery. This restriction ensures consistency and quality control across all franchise locations and events.

Beyond Juicery Eatery retains the right to complete these services themselves or grant the right to affiliates or other franchisees, even within a franchisee's designated area, without owing any compensation to the franchisee. If a franchisee receives a request for any of these services that Beyond Juicery Eatery or another franchisee/affiliate will fulfill, the franchisee must contact Beyond Juicery Eatery. This clause highlights a potential risk for franchisees, as they may lose business opportunities within their territory to the franchisor or other franchisees.
