What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to have up to 3 kitchen printers as part of their technology requirements. This is part of a larger Point of Sale (POS) and Computer System that Beyond Juicery Eatery mandates for its franchises. The technology suite also includes up to 2 POS terminals, up to 2 Kiosks, up to 5 kitchen display screens, 1 expediter printer, a desktop computer, and a laser or InkJet Printer/Scanner.
The cost of maintaining this technology is the franchisee's responsibility. While a service contract for the computer system is not currently required, Beyond Juicery Eatery reserves the right to mandate one in the future. The FDD estimates the annual cost of such a service contract to be approximately $1,500. This cost, along with the initial investment in the required technology, should be factored into the franchisee's financial planning.
Beyond Juicery Eatery retains the right to designate changes or enhancements to the POS system, potentially requiring franchisees to make further payments to Beyond Juicery Eatery or its designated suppliers. This highlights the importance of staying updated with the franchisor's technology requirements and budgeting for potential upgrades or changes to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
