What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a cooperative is established in the franchisee's geographic area either when the Franchise Agreement is signed or during its term, the franchisee must sign all documents requested by Beyond Juicery Eatery to become a member. These cooperatives are designed to manage advertising programs and develop promotional materials for local advertising, subject to Beyond Juicery Eatery's approval.

This requirement ensures that all franchisees contribute to and participate in regional advertising efforts, fostering brand consistency and awareness. The documents a franchisee must sign would likely include membership agreements, contribution schedules, and operational guidelines for the cooperative. Franchisees have the right to request a copy of the cooperative documents applicable to their area.

Franchisees are obligated to contribute to the cooperative as required by its governing documents. However, these contributions will not exceed three percent of the restaurant's gross sales. This financial contribution is in addition to any other advertising fees or requirements outlined in the franchise agreement, so prospective franchisees should factor this into their financial planning.
