What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the acquisition of Beyond Juicery Eatery by another business does not necessarily affect the franchisee's designated area. The document states that Beyond Juicery Eatery retains the right to be acquired by a business providing similar products or another business, even if that business operates competitive franchises within the franchisee's designated area.

This means that even if a competitor acquires Beyond Juicery Eatery, the franchisee's designated area may still be subject to competition from the acquiring company's existing franchises. The agreement does not require Beyond Juicery Eatery or the acquiring company to compensate the franchisee or alter the terms of the franchise agreement regarding the designated area.

This clause highlights a potential risk for franchisees. While they are granted a designated area, this protection does not extend to situations where Beyond Juicery Eatery is acquired by a competitor. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider this possibility and its potential impact on their business before investing in a Beyond Juicery Eatery franchise.
