What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted from engaging in any Competing Business for thirty-six months after the termination, expiration, or any other end of the Franchise Agreement. This restriction applies regardless of the reason for termination.
The geographic scope of this restriction includes not only the franchisee's Designated Area but also extends to the Designated Area of any of Beyond Juicery Eatery's other franchisees as of the date of termination, expiration, or other end of the Franchise Agreement. The non-compete also applies to any geographic area that is contained within the Designated Area of other franchisees.
This means that after leaving the Beyond Juicery Eatery system, a former franchisee cannot operate or be involved with a competing business within their original territory or within any other franchisee's territory that existed at the time of termination. This restriction is in place to protect Beyond Juicery Eatery's confidential information and system, as well as to prevent unfair competition among franchisees.
