What is the effective event that triggers the assignment of telephone numbers to Beyond Juicery Eatery?

According to the 2025 FDD, the assignment of telephone numbers to Beyond Juicery Eatery becomes effective upon the expiration without renewal, or the termination of the Franchise Agreement. This means that when the franchise term ends and is not renewed, or if the agreement is terminated for any reason, the rights to the telephone numbers used for the Beyond Juicery Eatery location transfer to the franchisor.

Beyond Juicery Eatery also requires the franchisee to assign any other telephone number used in the advertising or marketing of their Beyond Juicery Eatery Restaurant. The franchisee consents to telephone companies and directory services recognizing this assignment upon written notice from Beyond Juicery Eatery. The companies and services will construe the assignment as the franchisee's cancellation and surrender of the numbers, allowing immediate reassignment to Beyond Juicery Eatery.

Beyond Juicery Eatery will provide notice of its acceptance of the telephone number assignment either in person or via certified or registered mail. The franchisee is obligated to cooperate with Beyond Juicery Eatery in executing any necessary documents to facilitate the assignment. If the franchisee fails to sign the required documents within two business days of notice, Beyond Juicery Eatery is appointed as the franchisee's attorney to sign the documents on their behalf. All telephone charges, including directory advertising, will be prorated at the time of assignment, with the franchisee responsible for charges incurred before the assignment and Beyond Juicery Eatery responsible for subsequent charges.
