Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You must provide evidence that you have obtained all required insurance by providing us with: (1) Certificate of Insurance naming us, Our Indemnitees, and all specified affiliates as "additional insureds" on each policy specified by us; (2) an endorsement form listing us, Our Indemnitees, and designated affiliates as an additional insured, which endorsement form shall not limit our coverage under the policy to liability caused by the named insured's acts or omissions but shall include coverage for liability from your own negligent acts or omissions; and (3) any and all policy documents and any other documents and forms describing or relating to all terms and conditions of the insurance policies. You must instruct your insurance agent or provider to automatically send us evidence of your insurance coverages and our status as an additional insured at the time of renewal of each insurance policy.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must provide specific documentation to prove they have secured the necessary insurance coverage. This includes a Certificate of Insurance that names Beyond Juicery + Eatery Franchising, LLC, its indemnitees, and specified affiliates as additional insureds on each required policy. Additionally, franchisees must furnish an endorsement form that lists the same parties as additional insureds, ensuring that coverage extends to liability arising from the franchisee's negligent acts or omissions, not limited to those caused by the named insured.

Beyond Juicery Eatery requires franchisees to supply any and all policy documents and other forms that describe or relate to the terms and conditions of the insurance policies. Franchisees are also responsible for instructing their insurance agent or provider to automatically send evidence of their insurance coverages and the franchisor's status as an additional insured at the time of each policy renewal.

This requirement ensures that Beyond Juicery Eatery is protected from potential liabilities arising from the franchisee's operations. The franchisor also retains the right to inspect all certificates, endorsements, binders, and other policy documents received by the franchisee from the insurance provider, giving them further oversight and control over the franchisee's insurance coverage. This level of detail is typical in franchising, as franchisors need to mitigate risks associated with their franchisees' operations to protect the brand and the entire franchise system.
