What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee's team, which includes the Franchisee Designate and at least three managers, must complete the initial management training program at least thirty days before the restaurant opens. This requirement ensures that the management team is adequately prepared to operate the Beyond Juicery Eatery location effectively from day one.
The management training program is conducted several times per year and lasts approximately three weeks, totaling about 128 hours. It combines classroom instruction, potentially virtual, with on-the-job training at an affiliate's location in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan. The training covers various aspects of running a Beyond Juicery Eatery, including cultural orientation, management and communication, accounting, marketing, and operational sessions, as well as specific kitchen, menu preparation, and customer service skills.
While Beyond Juicery Eatery does not charge for the classroom or on-the-job management training program, the franchisee is responsible for covering the travel and living expenses for themselves (or their Franchisee Designate) and their managers. Furthermore, maintaining a fully-trained and certified management team is an ongoing responsibility, as any management personnel hired after the restaurant opens must also complete the training at the franchisee's expense.
