- We may organize and implement Franchisee meetings, in various formats, including without limitation, in-person meetings, conference calls, webinars, and webcasts, to which you, your Franchisee Designate, if different from you, managers, or other key employees, as we determine. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beyond Juicery Eatery's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are indeed responsible for covering the costs associated with attending meetings organized by the company. This includes travel expenses and other related costs for the franchisee, their Franchisee Designate (if applicable), managers, and other key employees that Beyond Juicery Eatery requires to attend. These meetings can take various forms, such as in-person gatherings, conference calls, webinars, and webcasts.
Beyond Juicery Eatery determines the location and format of these meetings, and they may even require attendees to stay at the hotel where the meetings are held. The topics covered typically include operational issues, sharing of best practices, presentations of new products or services, and updates to the Operations Manuals.
In addition to these general meetings, Beyond Juicery Eatery may also require additional training programs or refresher courses for franchisees and their teams. While the company does not charge for the initial management training program or the on-the-job training, franchisees are responsible for the travel and living expenses for themselves and their team during these training periods. Furthermore, if a franchisee requests additional assistance from Beyond Juicery Eatery, they will be responsible for the trainer's per diem fee and related travel costs.
