Can I use the Beverly Anns Cookie GR Vehicle for purposes other than operating the franchised business?

You may not utilize any other truck, vehicle or Equipment, other than the GR Vehicle (and any Additional Equipment), in the operation of your Franchised Business, and the GR Vehicle (and any Additional Equipment) must only be used for the operation of your Franchised Business and not for any other purpose. You must operate at least one GR Vehicle and may operate Additional Equipment in the Territory. Currently, we require that the GR Vehicle be upfitted every seven years.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beverly Anns Cookie Franchise Disclosure Document, the GR Vehicle, which is the primary vehicle (either the Grandma's Recipe Motor Vehicle or Grandma's Recipe Trailer) used in the franchised business, must only be used for the operation of the franchised business.
This means a franchisee cannot use the GR Vehicle for personal use or any other business venture outside of the Beverly Anns Cookie franchise. This restriction ensures that the vehicle is dedicated to maintaining the brand's image and operational standards.
The franchisee must operate at least one GR Vehicle within their territory and may operate additional GRTs as Additional Equipment. The FDD also states that the GR Vehicle must be upfitted every seven years, so the franchisee must keep this in mind. Failing to comply with these standards could result in the franchisee being in breach of the franchise agreement.
