What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beverly Anns Cookie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are a few circumstances in which the company may provide additional assistance or training to franchisees. First, upon a franchisee's written request, Beverly Anns Cookie may offer additional assistance or training at a mutually convenient time. The franchisee may have to pay a fee for this training, with the amount specified in the Brand Manual. This allows franchisees to seek help when they feel they need it, but it may come at an additional cost.
Second, Beverly Anns Cookie may require a franchisee, their employees, and other designees to attend remedial training if Beverly Anns Cookie determines, in its sole discretion, that the franchisee is not operating their franchised business in compliance with the Franchise Agreement and/or the Brand Manual. The franchisee must pay the then-current training fee as specified in the Brand Manual. This ensures that all franchisees meet the brand's standards, although it places the burden of determining compliance solely on Beverly Anns Cookie.
Finally, Beverly Anns Cookie may offer periodic refresher or additional training courses, which may be optional or mandatory. The franchisee may be required to pay the then-current fee for this training as specified in the Brand Manual. This allows Beverly Anns Cookie to keep franchisees updated on best practices, but attendance may come with additional costs.
