What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beverly Anns Cookie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standards for operating a franchise are generally found in the Brand Manual. The Brand Manual is intended to protect Beverly Anns Cookie's reputation and brand image. However, franchisees are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their business, and the Brand Manual is not designed to control these daily operations.

Beverly Anns Cookie may choose to post the Brand Manual on a restricted website or extranet. If they do so, franchisees are responsible for monitoring the website or extranet for any updates to the Brand Manual or System standards. Any passwords or digital identifications needed to access the Brand Manual are considered confidential information.

If a franchisee loses, gives away, makes unauthorized copies, fails to return, or otherwise misappropriates the Brand Manual, they will be required to pay liquidated damages. The liquidated damages are calculated by taking Beverly Ann's Cookie's total revenue from the previous fiscal year, multiplying it by a fraction of one divided by the current number of franchisees. However, this fee will not be less than $30,000 under any circumstances.
