At our option, we may post some or all of the Brand Manual on a restricted website or extranet to which you will have access. If we do so, you agree to monitor and access the website or extranet for any updates to the Brand Manual or System standards. Any passwords or other digital identifications necessary to access the Brand Manual on a website or extranet will be deemed part of Confidential Information (defined below).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beverly Anns Cookie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Manual may be posted on a restricted website or extranet. If Beverly Anns Cookie chooses to do so, franchisees are responsible for monitoring the website or extranet for updates to the Brand Manual or System standards. Franchisees will be given passwords or other digital identifications to access the Brand Manual online, and these will be considered Confidential Information.
This means that as a Beverly Anns Cookie franchisee, you must regularly check the online portal, if one is established, to stay informed about any changes to operational procedures, standards, or other requirements outlined in the Brand Manual. Failure to do so could result in non-compliance with the franchise agreement.
It is fairly common for franchisors to use online portals to distribute updates to franchise manuals. This allows for efficient communication and ensures that all franchisees have access to the most current information. However, it places the onus on the franchisee to proactively seek out these updates.
