According to Beverly Anns Cookie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit for the Transfer Fee is due at the time of transfer application submittal. The remaining balance of the Transfer Fee is due at the time of the approved transfer.
The Transfer Fee itself is payable in connection with the transfer of your Beverly Ann's Business, your GRM/GRT, a transfer of ownership of your legal entity, or the Franchise Agreement. The Transfer Fee is $7,500 if you transfer to an existing Beverly Ann's Cookie franchisee. Otherwise, it is $10,000.
In addition, you must pay a transfer fee of $1,000 for each piece of Additional Equipment that you transfer. However, if you are transferring the Franchise Agreement to an entity that you control, family, or adding minority equity owners, Beverly Anns Cookie does not require you to pay a Transfer Fee, but you must pay their actual costs, including legal fees. You are also required to pay off any loans on the Additional Equipment prior to transfer.
