What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beverly Anns Cookie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Beverly Ann's Cookie decides to discontinue its franchise program for Beverly Ann's Cookie Truck franchises, it will notify franchisees within six months after receiving their notice of intent to renew their Franchise Agreement. The notification will inform the franchisee that a Successor Franchise Agreement will not be granted because Beverly Ann's Cookie no longer maintains a franchise program for Beverly Ann's Cookie Truck franchises.

This decision by Beverly Anns Cookie would have significant implications for franchisees nearing the end of their franchise term. Instead of being able to renew their agreement and continue operating under the Beverly Anns Cookie brand, they would be forced to cease operations as a franchisee. This could involve rebranding their truck, finding a new business model, or closing down entirely, leading to potential financial losses.

It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that the continuation of the franchise program is not guaranteed. While Beverly Anns Cookie may currently be committed to franchising, business conditions and strategic priorities can change. Therefore, franchisees should consider the potential risks associated with the possibility that the franchise program could be discontinued during their term or at the time of renewal.
