What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beverly Ann's Cookie franchisees must use the trademarks, service marks, and trade names that the franchisor designates. These marks include "Beverly Ann's Cookies" and any other designations the franchisor specifies for the business.
This obligation extends to any distinctive trade dress used to identify a Beverly Ann's Cookie business, whether existing now or created in the future. This means franchisees must adhere to the brand's current and evolving identity as defined by the franchisor.
This requirement ensures brand consistency across all Beverly Ann's Cookie franchise locations, which is crucial for maintaining customer recognition and trust. Franchisees do not have the freedom to alter or deviate from the approved branding without risking breach of contract.
