What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bevaris Alliance's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use the Franchise Software as directed by Bevaris Alliance. This includes purchasing or leasing necessary hardware and obtaining applicable software licenses to facilitate the operation of the software. Franchisees are also expected to contribute to the costs associated with the development and implementation of the Franchise Software, with the contribution amount determined by Bevaris Alliance as a fair share of these costs.
Furthermore, franchisees must acquire, update, and replace any software and hardware that Bevaris Alliance reasonably requires for the business. Bevaris Alliance will provide at least sixty days' notice for hardware specifications. Franchisees are obligated to enter into and comply with software licenses and other agreements related to the Franchise Software, whether these agreements are with Bevaris Alliance or third-party suppliers.
Compliance with the terms outlined in the manual is mandatory for franchisees using the Franchise Software. This ensures that all franchisees operate under a standardized system and adhere to the franchisor's guidelines for technology use. This also allows Bevaris Alliance to maintain control over the technology used within its franchise system, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations.
These requirements are typical in franchising, as franchisors often mandate specific software and hardware to maintain brand consistency and operational efficiency. Franchisees should carefully consider these technology-related costs and obligations when evaluating the Bevaris Alliance franchise opportunity.
