What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bevaris Alliance's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to maintain their financial records using QuickBooks Online. Bevaris Alliance representatives are allowed to access a franchisee's QuickBooks Online account to examine their financial records. This access is granted to investigate the franchisee's records and make copies of their accounts.
However, this access is not unconditional. Bevaris Alliance must provide reasonable notice to the franchisee before accessing their QuickBooks Online account. Furthermore, access is only permitted during regular business hours.
This access can occur during the term of the franchise agreement and extends for a period of seven years after the termination of the agreement. This provision allows Bevaris Alliance to monitor financial compliance and verify royalty fee payments both during the active franchise period and for a significant time afterward.
