What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bevaris Alliance Franchise Disclosure Document, after the franchise agreement is terminated or expires, the franchisee cannot represent themselves as a Bevaris Alliance franchisee. Specifically, the franchisee must cease operating the franchised business and system, stop using the trademarks, and must not present themselves as a franchisee of Bevaris Alliance.
This restriction is a standard practice in franchising. It protects the brand's integrity and prevents former franchisees from potentially misrepresenting the brand or causing confusion in the marketplace.
Additionally, the franchisee is prohibited from representing themselves as connected with Bevaris Alliance in any way after the termination of the agreement. This provision is in place to further protect Bevaris Alliance's brand and reputation by ensuring that former franchisees do not imply any ongoing association or endorsement.
