What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bevaris Alliance Franchise Disclosure Document, Bevaris Alliance does provide franchisees with a list of approved suppliers. The FDD indicates that under the responsibilities outlined for the franchisee, franchisees must only purchase and use products specified by Bevaris Alliance or from a supplier that has been approved in writing by Bevaris Alliance.
Bevaris Alliance retains the right to charge a fee to the franchisee for the review of products proposed by the franchisee. This suggests that while franchisees are generally required to use approved suppliers, there is a mechanism for them to request approval of new suppliers or products, subject to a review process and potential fees.
This requirement ensures that franchisees maintain the standards and quality control that Bevaris Alliance expects. It also allows Bevaris Alliance to potentially benefit from rebates on purchases made by franchisees from approved suppliers. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the specific criteria and process for supplier approval, as well as any associated fees, to fully understand their obligations and options for sourcing products.
