What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Bevaris Alliance Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is prohibited from employing anyone as a manager who has not completed the franchisor's training course and been approved by Bevaris Alliance. Additionally, a franchisee cannot allow the business to start until all relevant employees are trained according to the standards outlined in clause 9 of the franchise agreement.

This requirement ensures that all managers meet Bevaris Alliance's standards before overseeing operations. The initial training program is provided at the franchisor's cost at their designated training site, including a minimum of two days of onsite training covering operation and management, marketing, sales, strategies, and product handling. This training aims to verify that the franchisee will adhere to the prescribed standards of operation. Bevaris Alliance offers this initial training free of charge for the Individual and up to two of the franchisee's employees.

Furthermore, Bevaris Alliance mandates that no employee can work in the franchisee's business until they have successfully completed the training as set out in the Manual, in the reasonable opinion of the Franchisor. If an employee does not successfully complete the training, the franchisee must ensure that the training is repeated until it is successfully completed. The franchisee is also responsible for ensuring that all employees attend further training as reasonably required by Bevaris Alliance, with the franchisee bearing the costs for such additional training.
