- 24.7 The parties are entitled to make submissions to the Expert including oral submissions and will provide (or procure that others provide) the Expert with such assistance and documents as the Expert reasonably requires for the purpose of reaching a decision.
- 24.9 Each party shall with reasonable promptness supply each other with all information and give each other access to all documentation and personnel and/or things as the other party may reasonably require to make a submission under this clause.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 FDD, in the event that an independent expert is appointed to resolve a dispute, both parties involved, which would include Bevaris Alliance and the franchisee, are required to provide the expert with assistance and documents.
Specifically, the FDD states that the parties are entitled to make submissions to the Expert, including oral submissions. More importantly, the parties will provide (or ensure that others provide) the Expert with assistance and documents. This obligation extends to providing any assistance and documents that the Expert reasonably requires to make a decision.
In addition to providing documents to the Expert, each party must promptly supply each other with all information and access to documentation, personnel, and things that the other party may reasonably require to make a submission under this clause.
