What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bevaris Alliance's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees receive a minimum of two days of onsite training free of charge. This training covers operation and management, marketing, sales strategies, and product handling. A Bevaris Alliance representative will be present for onsite training on the first day food service at a school begins and the immediately following day.
In addition to the initial onsite training, the FDD outlines a more extensive training program that includes both classroom and "on-the-job" training. The "Onsite Training" portion consists of 0 hours of classroom training and 24 hours of "on-the-job" training at the school location. This equates to three 8-hour days of onsite training.
Therefore, while the FDD specifies a minimum of two days of free onsite training, the full training program includes three days of onsite training at the franchisee's location. This onsite component is designed to ensure franchisees are well-versed in the practical aspects of running a Bevaris Alliance franchise, particularly in a school setting. The combination of classroom and onsite training is a common approach in the franchise industry, aiming to provide a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
