All documentation provided to the franchisee, including the Bevaris Alliance Manual, advertising, and promotional materials, are afforded protection under this Act, as amended. This means Bevaris Alliance has legal copyright protection for its training and operational materials.

As a Bevaris Alliance franchisee, you must immediately inform Bevaris Alliance if you become aware of any infringement or challenges to the use of their copyrighted materials. Bevaris Alliance will then decide on the appropriate action to take. Additionally, franchisees must agree not to contest Bevaris Alliance's interest in their copyrighted materials or other trade secrets.

If Bevaris Alliance decides to add, modify, or discontinue the use of an item or process covered by a patent or copyright, franchisees must comply with this decision. Bevaris Alliance's sole obligation in such cases is to reimburse the franchisee for the tangible cost of complying with this requirement. While Bevaris Alliance is not obligated to defend the franchisee's use of these items or processes, they will reimburse the franchisee for damages and reasonable costs incurred in litigation about them.
