5. Franchisor's initial obligations
The Franchisor shall within 45 days of the date of this agreement or at least 14 days before the Commencement Date provide:
- (a) general advice on how to set up the Franchisee's Business;
- (b) the Manual by computer link and/or Zip File;
- (c) the Franchise Software on the terms of the license set out in the Manual or otherwise provide by Franchisor to Franchisee;
- (d) A list of Food Service Agreements as of the date of this agreement;
6. Franchisor's continuing obligations
The Franchisor shall at all times during the Term:
(a) provide the Franchisee with know-how, advice and guidance relating to the Branded Business;
- (b) update the Manual and System from time to time and inform the Franchisee of all such updates;
- (c) assist the Franchisee in procuring such goods and services (other than the Products) as are necessary for the purposes of the Franchisee's Business, and continue to seek renewals of existing Food Service Agreements and new Food Service Agreements.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bevaris Alliance Franchise Disclosure Document, Bevaris Alliance is obligated to provide general advice on how to set up the franchisee's business within 45 days of the franchise agreement date or at least 14 days before the commencement date. This advice is one of the franchisor's initial obligations to the franchisee.
In addition to initial advice, Bevaris Alliance is obligated to provide the franchisee with ongoing know-how, advice, and guidance relating to the branded business throughout the term of the franchise agreement. This support extends to updating the manual and system from time to time and informing the franchisee of all such updates.
Furthermore, Bevaris Alliance will assist the franchisee in procuring necessary goods and services (excluding the products themselves) for the franchisee's business. This includes seeking renewals of existing Food Service Agreements and pursuing new Food Service Agreements, indicating a commitment to supporting the franchisee's operational needs beyond the initial setup phase.
