What must a Bevaris Alliance franchisee do with domain name registrations after termination?

According to the 2024 Bevaris Alliance Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination of the franchise agreement, a franchisee is required to assign all domain name registrations and rights in website content owned or used by the franchisee in their Bevaris Alliance business to the franchisor. This means the franchisee must transfer ownership and control of any domain names and website content they used for their franchise to Bevaris Alliance.

This requirement ensures that Bevaris Alliance maintains control over its brand's online presence and customer communications even after a franchise agreement ends. In addition to domain names, the franchisee must also discontinue use of any telephone numbers and email addresses specified or approved by Bevaris Alliance during the franchise term. They must also assist Bevaris Alliance in making any changes to contractual arrangements with service providers or registrations with regulatory authorities, including terminating arrangements or transferring the right to use the communication address to Bevaris Alliance.
