INITIAL FEES**
You pay an initial fee for a single franchise of $25,000.00. If you acquire a second franchise you will receive a 50% discount off the initial franchise fee (second franchise initial fee of $12,500.00). If you acquire a third or more subsequent franchise(s), each of your initial fees for those additional franchises will receive a 50% discount (third or subsequent franchise(s) initial fee of $12,500.00). The fee may be refundable, in our sole
discretion, and is charged when the Franchise Agreement is signed. All franchisee's must pay this uniform fee.
For franchisees in California, payment of all initial fees is postponed until after all of our initial obligations are complete and you are open for business. Payments made are considered earned and non-refundable when paid.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bevaris Alliance's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the sole discretion to determine if the initial franchise fee is refundable. The initial fee for a single Bevaris Alliance franchise is $25,000. If a franchisee acquires a second franchise, they receive a 50% discount, making the fee $12,500. The same 50% discount applies to the initial fees for the third and any subsequent franchises.
This means that while the initial fee is generally uniform, Bevaris Alliance retains the right to decide whether to refund it. This discretion could be based on various factors, such as the circumstances of the franchise agreement termination or specific agreements made with the franchisee. However, for franchisees in California, the payment of all initial fees is postponed until after all of Bevaris Alliance's initial obligations are complete and the franchisee is open for business. Once these payments are made, they are considered earned and non-refundable.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider this clause and inquire about the specific conditions under which a refund might be granted. Understanding the franchisor's criteria for refunding the initial fee is crucial for assessing the financial risk associated with investing in a Bevaris Alliance franchise. It is also important to note that any agreements or promises outside of the Franchise Agreement are not enforceable, so any refund conditions should be clearly documented within the agreement itself.
