What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Bevaris Alliance Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to maintain sufficient stock levels to meet anticipated demand. Specifically, section 7.5(b) of the franchise agreement states that franchisees must "maintain sufficient stocks and maintain staffing levels to meet reasonably anticipated demand under the Food Service Agreements associated with Franchisee's Business and other customers of the Franchisee's Business".

However, the FDD excerpt does not explicitly detail the consequences or penalties a Bevaris Alliance franchisee might face for failing to meet this obligation. While the agreement mandates maintaining sufficient stock, it does not specify what actions Bevaris Alliance might take if a franchisee fails to do so. This could range from warnings and required improvement plans to more severe actions depending on the severity and frequency of the stock shortages.

Prospective Bevaris Alliance franchisees should seek clarification from the franchisor regarding the specific repercussions of failing to maintain adequate stock and staffing levels. Understanding the potential consequences will allow franchisees to better manage their inventory and staffing, ensuring they meet customer demand and avoid potential penalties or breaches of the franchise agreement.
