- 2.4 Notice Address. All notices required under this Agreement must be in writing at the addresses below and will be deemed given: (i) if personally delivered on the date delivered, (ii) if sent in the United States mail, by certified mail, postage prepaid, three (3) business days after it is sent (iii) if delivered by courier or express delivery service, two business (2) days after it is sent, or (iv) if sent electronically, on the date delivered, to the authorized email address. You may change your notice address by giving written notice under this Section.
- 2.4.1 Notices to you will be sent to the Main Office address and/or to your primary email address listed in our electronic reporting system. Electronic delivery of notices will not include notices sent under Section 16 of this Agreement, unless you request electronic delivery in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all notices required under the Franchise Agreement must be in writing. These notices are considered given (i) on the date of delivery if personally delivered, (ii) three business days after sending if sent by certified mail with prepaid postage, (iii) two business days after sending if delivered by courier or express delivery service, or (iv) on the date delivered if sent electronically to the authorized email address.
Notices to the Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate franchisee will be sent to the Main Office address and/or to the franchisee's primary email address listed in Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate's electronic reporting system. However, notices sent under Section 16 of the Agreement (which likely covers termination or legal disputes) will not be sent electronically unless the franchisee specifically requests electronic delivery in writing.
