What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend has the right to videotape and/or take photographs during inspections of a franchisee's business. Better Blend may enter the premises at any reasonable time, including during normal business hours, to conduct an inspection. Franchisees are required to cooperate with Better Blend's inspectors during these visits.
The inspection can include observing operations, taking physical inventory, assessing the physical condition of the premises, monitoring sales activity, speaking with employees and customers, and taking samples of products, supplies, and materials. Better Blend will try to minimize disruption to the franchisee's business operations during inspections.
Better Blend may also set a minimum score requirement for inspections, and failure to meet this score can result in a default under the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are expected to correct any deficiencies noted during an inspection as soon as reasonably practical. If an inspection is conducted due to a governmental report, customer complaint, or a franchisee's non-compliance with System Standards, Better Blend may charge the franchisee for all out-of-pocket expenses plus an inspection fee.
