What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend is obligated to provide on-site opening assistance if a franchisee is opening their first Better Blend business. This assistance includes at least three days of on-site opening training and support, with Better Blend covering the expenses for their representative to provide this assistance.
However, this obligation is waived if the franchisee or their affiliates already own two or more Better Blend locations. In such cases, Better Blend is not required to provide on-site opening support. This policy likely reflects the assumption that experienced franchisees already possess the necessary knowledge and skills to open additional locations successfully.
For prospective franchisees, this means that those new to the Better Blend system can expect hands-on support during the critical opening phase. This support can be invaluable in ensuring a smooth launch and adherence to Better Blend's standards. Franchisees with previous Better Blend experience should be prepared to open subsequent locations with less direct assistance from the franchisor.
