What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend may charge a franchisee for support under specific circumstances. While Better Blend offers advice via telephone or electronic communication for improving the business and resolving operational issues, they may charge a fee for in-person support. This in-person support is provided only upon the franchisee's request.
The fee for in-person support is currently $600 per day, along with reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by Better Blend employees. These expenses include travel, lodging, and meals. This means that if a franchisee requires on-site assistance from Better Blend, they should be prepared to cover not only the daily support fee but also all associated travel costs for the Better Blend personnel.
Additionally, if a Better Blend franchisee needs to send a new general manager to the initial training program, Better Blend will charge a fee of $250 per day for that training. This fee is separate from the in-person support fee and applies specifically to the training of new general managers. While Better Blend does not currently require additional training programs or refresher courses, they retain the right to implement such programs in the future, which could potentially involve additional fees.
