What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, when transferring a franchise, all owners of the proposed transferee must provide a guaranty in accordance with Section 2.5 of the franchise agreement. This requirement is one of the conditions Better Blend may impose when granting consent for a transfer.

While the excerpt specifies that a guaranty is required, it does not detail the exact terms or conditions outlined in Section 2.5. A prospective franchisee should carefully review Section 2.5 of the Franchise Agreement to fully understand the obligations and liabilities associated with this guaranty.

Understanding the specifics of the guaranty is crucial because it likely involves a personal commitment from the owners of the transferee to ensure the financial and operational obligations of the franchise are met. This could include guaranteeing the payment of debts, adherence to operational standards, and compliance with the franchise agreement. Therefore, it is essential to seek legal counsel to fully comprehend the implications of providing such a guaranty before proceeding with the franchise transfer.
