Can Better Blend set a minimum score requirement for inspections?

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend has the right to set minimum score requirements for inspections. Specifically, Better Blend may enter the premises of the Business from time to time at any reasonable time (including during normal business hours) and conduct an inspection.

Better Blend will use reasonable efforts to not disrupt Franchisee's business operations during any such inspection. The inspection may include, but is not limited to, observing operations, conducting a physical inventory, evaluating physical conditions, monitoring sales activity, speaking with employees and customers, and removing samples of products, supplies and materials. Better Blend may videotape and/or take photographs of the inspection and the Business.

Better Blend also shares the results of these programs with the franchisee, as they pertain to the business. The franchisee must meet or exceed any minimum score requirements set by Better Blend for such programs. Better Blend may also set minimum scores that the franchisee must receive from the public on internet review sites, such as Yelp or Google.
