What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, meal, and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the pre-opening training program. Better Blend offers its standard pre-opening training to the Principal Executive and up to three other employees without charging a training fee. The training takes place at Better Blend's headquarters or a designated Better Blend business.
This means that while the actual training is provided at no cost, franchisees must budget for and pay for all associated costs to attend the training. These costs can include transportation to the training location, accommodation, food, and any incidental expenses.
Better Blend retains the right to modify the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending. Franchisees should consider these potential costs when evaluating the overall investment required to start a Better Blend franchise.
