What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company offers on-site opening assistance under specific conditions. If a franchisee is opening their first Better Blend business, Better Blend will provide a representative to support the opening with at least three days of on-site training and assistance. Better Blend will cover the expenses for this support.

However, this on-site opening assistance is not guaranteed for all franchisees. If the franchisee or their affiliates already operate two or more Better Blend locations, Better Blend is not obligated to provide this opening support. This means that experienced Better Blend franchisees expanding their operations will not automatically receive the same level of on-site assistance as first-time franchisees.

This policy could impact a franchisee's initial costs and operational strategy. First-time franchisees can expect hands-on support from Better Blend during the critical opening phase, potentially reducing the learning curve and minimizing initial mistakes. Multi-unit owners should be prepared to handle new store openings more independently, leveraging their existing knowledge and resources. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand these conditions and factor them into their business plans.
