Answer from 2024 FDD Document

If the business is owned through a corporation or limited liability company, you must designate one owner as your "Principal Executive". The Principal Executive is the owner primarily responsible for the business and has decision-making authority on behalf of the business. The Principal Executive must own at least 30% of the business. The Principal Executive must complete our initial training program. The Principal Executive must complete any post-opening training programs that we develop in the future. The Principal Executive must make reasonable efforts to attend all in-person meetings and remote meetings (such as telephone or video conference calls),

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Principal Executive is required to complete post-opening training programs if Better Blend develops them in the future. The Principal Executive is defined as the owner primarily responsible for the business with decision-making authority, owning at least 30% of the business.

In addition to post-opening training, the Principal Executive must complete the initial training program. They are also expected to make reasonable efforts to attend all in-person and remote meetings, including regional or national brand conferences, and cannot miss more than three consecutive required meetings.

Better Blend may also require the Principal Executive and/or any other employees to complete training programs at any time, in any format, and in any location they determine. Better Blend may charge a reasonable fee for these training programs and may also require the franchisee to provide training programs to its employees. Franchisees should factor in the potential costs and time commitments associated with these post-opening training requirements.
