What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend will provide a representative for on-site support for at least three days in connection with the opening of a franchisee's first Better Blend business. This support is provided at Better Blend's expense. However, Better Blend is not obligated to provide on-site opening support for a franchisee's third or subsequent locations.
In addition to on-site support, Better Blend offers other forms of assistance to franchisees before opening. Better Blend will review and advise franchisees on potential locations they submit. They will also advise franchisees regarding the layout, design, and build-out of the business. Better Blend will provide a list of specifications and approved suppliers for necessary equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, and supplies. If requested, Better Blend will review a franchisee's pre-opening business plan and financial projections and advise on the planning and execution of the market introduction plan.
Better Blend also assists with employee training. Their opening support includes assisting franchisees in training employees. However, all hiring decisions and conditions of employment remain the franchisee's sole responsibility. Franchisees are also given access to Better Blend's Brand Standards Manual.
