What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, there is a specific statute of limitations for claims arising under the Maryland Franchise Registration and Disclosure Law. For franchisees in Maryland, any claims related to this law must be initiated within a defined period to be considered valid.

Specifically, any claims arising under the Maryland Franchise Registration and Disclosure Law must be brought within 3 years after the grant of the franchise. This means that a franchisee has a three-year window from the date their franchise is granted to file any legal claims under this particular law.

This provision is important for prospective Better Blend franchisees in Maryland as it sets a clear timeframe for legal action. Franchisees should be aware of this deadline and consult with legal counsel to understand their rights and obligations under the Maryland Franchise Registration and Disclosure Law.
