What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend may establish market advertising and promotional cooperative funds in any geographical areas. If a Market Cooperative for the geographic area encompassing the Location has been established at the time a franchisee commences operations, the franchisee must immediately become a member of such Market Cooperative. If a Market Cooperative for the geographic area encompassing the Location is established during the term of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must become a member of such Market Cooperative within 30 days of notice from Better Blend.
However, Better Blend will not require a franchisee to be a member of more than one Market Cooperative. This means that a franchisee's financial contributions and participation will be limited to a single cooperative, providing some predictability in terms of marketing expenses and involvement in cooperative activities.
This policy ensures that franchisees are not overburdened with multiple cooperative memberships, which could dilute their marketing efforts and increase their financial obligations. By limiting membership to one Market Cooperative, Better Blend aims to streamline regional advertising and promotional efforts, making it easier for franchisees to manage their marketing responsibilities and budgets.
