What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must provide Certificates of Insurance to Better Blend Franchising, LLC (BBF). These certificates serve as proof that the franchisee has the required insurance coverage. The franchisee is obligated to provide these certificates before opening their Better Blend location and upon the annual renewal of their insurance coverage.
In addition to the initial and renewal submissions, Better Blend can request these certificates at any time. Upon such a request from BBF, the franchisee has a 15-day window to provide the necessary Certificates of Insurance.
This requirement ensures that Better Blend franchisees maintain adequate insurance coverage, protecting both the franchisee and the franchisor from potential liabilities. Failing to provide the certificates within the specified timeframe could potentially lead to a breach of the franchise agreement and possible penalties.
